We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Community Planner Student Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in urban design concepts, comprehensive community planning, neighborhood revitalization, corridor redevelopment, downtown plans, and small area plans. The intern will work closely with experienced Community Planners to develop planning studies, illustrations, and reports in support of new and updated plans and projects. This position provides opportunities to develop relationships with clients and the public, perform public outreach, participate in design exercises, and collect feedback to provide meaningful and impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will be a college student entering their junior or senior year or about to graduate from an urban planning, ecology, architecture, or related bachelors or master's program.

Higher pay is dependent on experience and qualifications as outlined in this posting. We seek a candidate who could commit to working 10-15 hours a week in the Studio during the school year and expanded hours for the summer. This position is intended to be flexible to coincide with academic pursuits.

- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and MS Office.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Basic knowledge of city and regional planning
- Familiarity with GIS Analysis preferred.
- Excellent visual communication skills preferred.
- Ability to render site plans via sketches and/or computer graphics preferred.
